It’s good that the priests don’t forget about the children in the sanatorium. We also had such trips a couple of times in Rostov, the kids were always happy. And the title says about young patients, but the text itself is all about the colony and the metropolitan - perhaps the piece of news was mixed up?

It’s probably true that a piece of news was mixed up during copy-paste. In Voronezh we also have such visits to hospitals, the children are always waiting.
