In the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Volchansk, the event “Lessons of Good Deeds” was held: school kits were collected for childrentranslated

Parishioners of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Volchansk collected stationery kits for children from large and low-income families as part of the annual “Lessons in Good Deeds” campaign.
Thanks to the responsiveness of believers, it was possible to prepare 23 sets, each of which included notebooks, pens, pencils, erasers, albums, paints, markers, rulers, notebook covers, bags for replacement shoes and backpacks - everything necessary for studying.
After the prayer service before the start of the school year, school supplies were solemnly presented to the children by the rector of the church, Priest George. For those who were unable to attend the prayer service, the kits were delivered personally - parishioner Dmitry Kopylov assisted in this with his own transport.
The “Lessons of Good Deeds” campaign is held in the church annually and is aimed at supporting large and low-income families. This year, many parishioners took part again, answering the call to help children prepare for school.
