Charity event for the Day of Knowledge in the parish of the village of Ust-Salda: assistance to children from needy familiestranslated

In the Parish in the name of the Holy Chief Apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Ust-Salda, Verkhoturye region, a charity event was held to collect gifts for the Day of Knowledge for children from low-income and large families.

Parishioners and concerned residents joined forces to help the children get off to a good start to the school year. As part of the campaign, stationery and school supplies, as well as backpacks, were collected.

On August 26, 2026, gifts were presented to the children of the village of Prokopyevskaya Salda, and on August 27, to the children of the village of Ust-Salda. Some of the collected items were handed over to the management of the school in the village of Ust-Salda for further distribution to the most needy students at the discretion of the teachers.

This action is a vivid example of Christian charity and care for others. Helping families prepare their children for school becomes important support in difficult life situations and helps make Knowledge Day truly joyful for every child.
