A prayer service for students and a holiday on the eve of the new school year were held in Serov's Transfiguration Cathedraltranslated

On August 30, on the eve of the new school year, a prayer service for students was held in the Transfiguration Cathedral in the city of Serov after the Divine Liturgy. The parishioners prayed together for help and strengthening of children and their parents, for a good start to the school year, diligence in learning, attention and wisdom.

After the prayer service, the celebration continued outside. A game program prepared by Young Guard activists was organized for children. The children were treated to games, entertainment and a good mood - an excellent reason to celebrate the beginning of the new school year joyfully and together.

A special part of the holiday was the presentation of sets of school supplies collected as part of the “Lessons of Good Deeds” campaign. The sets were intended for large families and Sunday school students. The action took place thanks to the participation of caring parishioners and the tax service team, who contributed to the good deed. Thanks to general support, the children received everything they needed to start the new school year with joy and confidence.
