Damascene of Aetolia and Acarnania: Saint Nicodemus did not forget the need for missionary worktranslated

The solemn Vespers of the holy memory of our Holy and God-bearing father Nicodemus of Agioreitos was celebrated with particular splendor in the Holy Sanctuary of Agios Nicodemus of Agioreitos, in Kouvaras of Aitoloakarnania, on Monday, July 13, 2026. During his sermon, Metropolitan Damascenes referred to the celebrant Fr Nikodimos, who erected this Holy Sanctuary "out of love and reverence for the patron Saint" and expressed his great joy for the existence of this Church which is dedicated "to this great and supreme ossuary form of our holy Church".
