Flowers of life and creation: An event for the children of the Pediatric Oncology Clinic of Makarios Hospitaltranslated

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., a special event took place at the packed Agios Charalambous Geri Spiritual Center in Nicosia. Its focus was the exhibition of works by children and parents of the Pediatric Oncology Clinic of the Makarios Hospital of Nicosia. Works by teenagers from the "Agia Skepi" Therapeutic Community as well as by a doctor from the clinic were also exhibited. Its title: "The Garden of Virtues - Fruits of life, faith and creation", with the motto: "Every work, a flower of virtue, a message of life. Together we cultivate virtues! Together we support lives!".

The event was held under the auspices of A.M. of the Archbishop of Cyprus Georgios. The inauguration was performed by the Archbishop and, representing the President of the Republic Nikos Christodoulidis, the Deputy Minister of Social Welfare Clea Papaellina. Political and state officials, teachers, doctors, clergy, children from the Pediatric Oncology Clinic, parents and a large number of people attended.
