A high-priestly memorial service was held today, July 19, 2026, in Verati, as two years have passed since the death of the blessed Metropolitan of Verati, Mr. Ignatius. The Divine Liturgy for the Sunday of the Holy Fathers of the 4th Ecumenical Synod was celebrated by His Eminence Metropolitan Mr. Astios. In addition to the clergy of the Holy Metropolis, a special blessing was the presence of Hieromonk Konstantinos from the Holy Monastery of Agios Georgios Josevitos, in Jerusalem, brainchild of the distant Metropolitan Ignatius.
