On Saturday, July 4, 2026, the ordination of Bishop-elect Mr. Hyacinthos in the Patriarchal Cathedral of Bucharest took place with particular splendor.

The Divine Liturgy was presided over by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Romania, Mr. Daniel and the Theophilist Bishops of Australia and New Zealand Mr. Michael, Mr. Varlaam of Ploestiou, Mr. Paisios of Sinaia and Mr. Timotheus of Prachoveanu were officiating.

I am glad that the new Bishop of Oceanus was ordained with such splendor in Bucharest. Patriarch Daniel and the bishops from Australia, Ploesti and Sinaia show that the Church works together. God bless him for his work over there.
