“And grant us victory through Your power”: in the Trinity Cathedral they pray for soldierstranslated

At all periods of the history of our Fatherland, the Orthodox Church offered prayers for the authorities and the Christ-loving army, strengthening them during the years of war and unrest. And now in the churches and monasteries of the Peter and Paul and Kamchatka diocese, deep prayers are offered for our Fatherland, for the leaders and warriors fighting on the battlefield, they pray for the repose and forgiveness of the sins of people who laid down their lives for their Motherland, and for peaceful citizens who died as a result of hostilities. In monasteries and churches, requests for soldiers who fulfill their duty or lay down their lives on the battlefield are accepted free of charge.
With the blessing of Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka, in the Cathedral of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity, the laity read akathists and prayers for our soldiers. From 11:30 to 16:30, after the morning Liturgy and before the evening service, you can come to the cathedral and at a specially equipped lectern in front of the iconostasis, read an akathist, or a prayer for your relatives who are in the Northern Military District, or for the granting of victory to the Russian army.
