On Monday, September 7 and Tuesday, September 8, 2026, the prescribed sacred services for the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary were held, at the Cathedral Church of the Armed Forces "Panagia Pantanassa", at the "PAPAGOU" Camp. The services included Great Vespers on the eve, as well as Orthro and Divine Liturgy on the day, after which the Litanization of the Holy Icon took place inside the "PAPAGOS" Camp, in an atmosphere of rapture and respect.

It is good that in the army they keep the feast of the Mother of God as it should. The lithium procession with the icon inside Camp Papagu must have been special - for the soldiers to gather in such reverence. Thanks for the photos from the office.
