The 40-day memorial service of Protopresbyter Konstantinos Manouselis in I.M. Agia Irini Rethymnotranslated

On Saturday morning, July 4, 2026, Rev. Metropolitan of Rethymno and Avlopotamos, Mr. Prodromos officiated during the Orthros and then celebrated the High Priestly Divine Liturgy in the Catholic Church of the Holy Monastery of Agia Irini, Rethymno. During the Divine Liturgy, the 40-day Sacred Memorial of the blessed Protopresbyter Konstantinos Manouselis, who served as Vicar of the Holy Monastery in question, was held.

The hymns during the Divine Liturgy were performed by students of the Practical Chanting Department of the Holy Metropolis, which now bears, in honor of its founder, the name "Archpriest Konstantinos Manouselis".

His Holiness, in his homily, touched upon the strength with which Fr. Konstantinos lifted the cross of his illness, teaching us all, and shared with the congregation messages from this entire period, which proved the faith, patience and hope of the resurrection of the blessed Fr. Konstantinos, wishing us all to keep these as sacred bequest in his memory.
