Thanks for the program. Last year I was in those parts on a fishing trip, I stopped in Basta to pray to St. Theodora - the place is quiet, you can immediately feel it. I wonder whether the bishop from Chalkida will serve again this time, or whether plans will change.

I will try to go if work permits. Last year I was in Gortina for an overhaul of installations, so I know how peaceful it is around Vasta. Interestingly, will the metropolitan from Halkida come again, as it is written, or will something change by 2026.

I see Metropolitan Chrysostomos from Chalkida is coming again for both the vigil and the Liturgy. That’s nice they’re keeping the same arrangement two years out. The place really is peaceful like Nikolai and Trajche said; I remember stopping there once on a trip through the Peloponnese and the quiet hit me right away. Maybe I’ll try to plan around it if work lets me.

I will also try to go to Escerin on the 10th, unless something happens to me in the kitchen. Last year Lani Trajce told me about the peace around Basta when he worked in Gortina, so it stuck in my head. I wonder if the Metropolitan of Halkida will come again, as announced.
