I. Diocese of Adelaide: Winter Book Fair 2026 and commemoration of St. Paisiostranslated

With the blessing of the Most Reverend Archbishop of Australia Mr. Makarios, the Central Philoptochous Brotherhood of the Holy Diocese of Adelaide organizes the annual winter exhibition of books and pictures at the offices of the Hellenic Welfare Center of South Australia "Agia Philothei". The exhibition includes a rich variety of books of Orthodox content for all ages, as well as a rich variety of religious objects and devotional items. Held during the July school holidays, it has become a fixture in the Diocesan calendar, one of three regular annual book and picture fairs organized by the Central Philoptochoic Brotherhood, which curates five bookshops in the Holy Diocese of Adelaide. This year the exhibition started on Saturday, July 11, and will continue until at least Sunday, July 19, with opening hours 12:00-15:00 on weekends and 15:00-18:00 on weekdays.

As it is held during the July school holidays, it often coincides with the feast of Saint Paisius (12th July) falling in or around the exhibition period. For this reason, last year the exhibition included (for the first time)…
