Commentaries on the Sequence of the Great and Angelic Pattern

The present edition consists of three volumes and includes catechetical gatherings of the brotherhood of the Holy Monastery of Mahaira.

From May 1997 until February 1999, Elder Athanasios, then Abbot of the Mahaira Monastery and now Metropolitan of Limassol, in the regular spiritual gatherings of the brotherhood, had commented, with his many years of experience as a monk but also the gift of speech with which God endowed him, the sequence of the Great and Angelic Hermit Shape.

The first volume includes ten gatherings that took place between May 25 and November 30, 1997. The second volume includes twelve gatherings that took place between January 18 and July 27, 1998. The third volume includes twelve gatherings that took place between August 23, 1998 and February 22, 1999.

Благодаря за новината. Трите тома с катехизисите на отец Атанасий от 1997–1999 г. изглеждат много полезни, особено коментарите върху чина на Великия Ангелски образ. Ще се обадя в Махера да питам за цената и дали има и на български.

Das klingt nach einer sehr gründlichen Arbeit. Drei Bände mit Katechesen von 1997 bis 1999 direkt aus dem Kloster Machaira – besonders die Kommentare zum Großen Engelsschema interessieren mich. Ich frage mal nach, ob es bald auch eine deutsche oder russische Übersetzung gibt.

Ja, die drei Bände wirken wirklich sehr fundiert – allein die vielen Jahre, die Metropolit Athanasios schon als Mönch in Machaira verbracht hat, merkt man den Katechesen an. Ich habe den ersten Band schon bestellt und freue mich besonders auf die Erklärungen zum Engelsschema. Ob eine deutsche Übersetzung kommt, weiß ich nicht, aber eine russische wäre bei uns in der Gemeinde sicher auch willkommen.

Ja, die Katechesen aus Machaira sind wirklich praxisnah, weil Athanasios sie direkt für seine Brüder gehalten hat. Ich habe vor zwei Jahren schon den griechischen ersten Band gelesen und fand die Teile zum Engelsschema besonders hilfreich fürs eigene Verständnis des Mönchtums. Hast du schon mal beim Kloster nach einer deutschen Ausgabe gefragt?

Да, Тодор, коментарите наистина са много по същество – особено частта за обещанията при пострига. Обадих се в Махера миналата седмица, още нямат български превод, но казаха че ще проверят. Ако се появи, ще го споделя тук.
