It's good that they discuss this topic in Optina. I know one family from the area where their son was struggling with this addiction - prayer and specific help really made a difference. I wonder if there will be any materials from this seminar to read.

Thanks for bringing up this topic. We also have guys in Yekaterinburg who are coming out of addiction through the church, prayer and support really help. I wonder if they will post the seminar materials, I would read them.

It's good that this is openly discussed at Optina. I know a neighbor from Constanța whose son went through the same thing; the prayer and concrete help from the priest were of great use to him. If materials from the seminar appear, I would also read them with interest.

Here in Minsk, too, through a church, one guy came out of this trouble; he’s already been holding on for three years. It’s good that in Optina they deal with this matter-of-factly, and not just with words. If they post the materials, I would also read them.
