A number of 41 graduates of the Post-secondary School of Health within the "Episcop Melchisedec" Theological High School in Roman took the Nurse's Oath at the festive course of the 2026 promotion, organized in the yard of the "Episcop Melchisedec" Foundation.

The event began with a Te Deum thanksgiving service officiated by His Holiness Father Teofil Trotușanul, Vicar Bishop of the Roman and Bacău Archdiocese.

The graduates come from the two classes of the post-secondary health school and were coordinated by their leaders, nun Irina Chirițoiu and biologist Mihaela Marele.

The activity was moderated by Archim. Andrei Ioniță, teacher of general medicine for post-secondary health education students.

Exhortation to serve the neighbor In his message to the graduates, His Holiness Father Teofil Trotușanul spoke about the responsibility of those who choose to work in the medical field.

I agree, Catherine, about hands as an extension of God’s mercy - this is exactly the point for nurses. Here in Rostov, after such releases, this phrase is also often remembered. Are you somehow connected with medicine yourself or do you just follow the guys?

I agree, the phrase about hands as an extension of God’s grace is really memorable. In Samara, after such issues, they often repeat it in the parish. And in Rostov is this after every graduation or only in some schools?

Yes, this phrase about hands as an extension of God’s grace is really memorable. In Voronezh, after such graduations, people often remember her in the parish, especially when they talk about real care for the sick. And in Rostov is this after every graduation or only in some schools?

Yes, this phrase about hands as an extension of God’s mercy is really memorable and is sometimes heard in our parish when they talk about the sisters in the hospital. And in Voronezh, after graduation, is it only in churches at medical schools or in regular parishes too?

Yes, this phrase is indeed often heard here in Samara after such releases. It is especially touching when it is uttered specifically in the context of caring for seriously ill patients, and not just in words. In Voronezh, do you hear this more from the priests or from the graduates themselves?

In our Krasnodar parish, they also sometimes say this about the sisters of mercy in the hospital, especially when the priest blesses them for duty. And in Voronezh, I wonder if this is heard more often in ordinary churches or is it more common in those attached to schools?

Here in St. Petersburg, in ordinary parish churches, they also often say this about the sisters of mercy, especially when they bless them to work in a hospital. But in Voronezh, I wonder, does this come more from the priests or from the sisters themselves? My daughter works as a nurse in another city, and she says that such words are very supportive.

Here in Yekaterinburg they also often say this, especially when sisters are sent to a hospital or hospice. For my friend from the choir, this is real support; she says that after such words it is easier to be on duty. Have you been to Voronezh yourself or only heard from your daughter?

Yes, I saw it myself in Voronezh when I helped in the hospital at the church last year. These words really give strength, especially after a night shift. How long has your friend from the choir been on duty like this?

In Novosibirsk, in our hospital chapel, they also often remind us about the “hands of God’s mercy,” especially before duty in the oncology department. A nurse friend of mine says that after these words, at least it’s not so hard to look at patients. Has your friend from the choir been going to the hospice for a long time?

Thank you, Tanya, for sharing about Voronezh. A friend of mine from the choir started on duty only this spring, twice a week. Do you often help there yourself or was it a one-time thing?
