Let's mention them in prayer today, especially those from Orahovac and the surrounding villages. 28 years have passed and the pain still persists. May the Lord grant them the Kingdom of Heaven.

Yes, it's important we remember those families from Orahovac and the nearby villages. Twenty-eight years is a long time, yet the pain doesn't just disappear. May the Lord grant them eternal rest.

I remember how in those years news from Orahovac even reached us in Minsk - entire families were disappearing. Let us pray today for those killed, especially for those from the surrounding villages. The kingdom of heaven to them.

Thank you, Anastasia, for remembering those families from the surrounding villages. Here in Yaroslavl, too, people were worried when the news arrived. Let us pray together for all those killed, the Kingdom of Heaven to them.

Yeah, twenty-eight years on and those families in Orahovac still carry it every day. I remember reading how some of the survivors only got the chance to bury their relatives properly years later. Lord grant them all eternal rest.

Thank you, Galina, for writing about Yaroslavl. In Kazan, too, many in 1996 followed the news from Orahovac and worried about those Serbian families from the surrounding villages. Let us pray together, the Kingdom of Heaven to all those killed.

I remember reading that too — some of those families had to wait until 2001 just to get the remains back and hold a proper funeral. It’s heartbreaking how the grief gets locked in like that. Have you ever been to any of the memorials in that part of Kosovo?

Thank you, Ekaterina. In Minsk, too, many people in 1996 listened to the news every evening and worried about the Orakhov Serbs. I remember how one neighbor even collected things for refugees from those villages. Kingdom of Heaven to all.
