I note that the document covers until July 2026, so it includes recent events. Can we know if the WCC mentioned anything concrete about local reconciliation efforts between Orthodox parishes in France, or are they mostly general statements?

I haven't seen anything specific about parishes in France in this file, Sophie. It mainly remains on general calls for reconciliation between the Churches. Do you have a concrete example of what is happening here in Lyon between the communities?

The document contains more and more general calls for reconciliation between the Churches, but there is almost nothing specific about our parishes in Russia or even in Europe. It’s a pity that they didn’t mention how in St. Petersburg some priests from different jurisdictions still find a common language through fishing or at common funeral services. Is there at least one mention in the file of a real meeting at the local level, or again just high words?

The archive reaches up to July 2026 and only talks about general appeals, without saying a word about what is happening in the villages and parishes. Here in Thessaloniki I see every Sunday that people pray together, regardless of jurisdiction, without waiting for a statement from Geneva. Would it be better to write about these simple things that are already being done?

Yes, Sophie, the document remains very general on reconciliation, especially at the level of national Churches. I also found nothing about our parishes in France. Have you already seen concrete initiatives between communities in Toulouse, for example between our parish and those of the Patriarchate?
