The Virgin Mary "The Guide" was celebrated in the Holy Monastery of Neamtstranslated

Divine Liturgy in the forecourt area of the Holy Monastery of Neamts was celebrated before the miraculous Holy Icon of the Virgin Mary "Odegitria" preeminent of Archimandrite Fr. Benediktos Sautsiuk. In his speech, Archimandrite Benedict Sautsiuk urged everyone to remain under the protection and guidance of the Mother of God and emphasized: "We pray that she will remain the uninterrupted Guide of our lives, that she will strengthen us in the true faith, that she will guide us on the path of salvation and that she will pour out peace, blessing and joy in this holy monastery, in our country and in the entire faithful people."

The Archpriest Father Iustinianos Karstoiu emphasized the special place held by the Icon of Our Lady "Odegetria" in the life of Neamts Monastery and in the spirituality of Moldova

He also pointed out that the entire spiritual, cultural and missionary work carried out in Neamts Monastery "is constantly under the protection of the Most Holy Theotokos, who is honored in this monastery through Her miraculous icon".

At the end of the service, the miraculous icon was placed back in the Catholic Church of the Monastery.

The icon of Saint Mary the Guide has always been special to Neamţ, I have heard it often. Good thing they brought it out into the courtyard for the Liturgy, it seems to have been a peaceful and blessed day. Thanks for the news.
