The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Zambia and Mozambique, Mr. Ioannis, was admitted to the International Hospital of Zambia, in Lusaka, in the early hours of the morning.

He successfully underwent surgery for urethral strictures. According to information, his postoperative course is satisfactory and he is recovering smoothly.
