Barrage of explosions in Damascustranslated

A barrage of explosions rocked Damascus on Tuesday (7/7), prompting authorities to alert as French President Emmanuel Macron is on an official visit to the Syrian capital. As reported by ertnews.gr, according to a security source, a series of explosive devices exploded near the hotel where the French president is staying in Damascus.

Earlier, an eyewitness of the Reuters agency had reported that explosions were heard in the city, without initially knowing their causes or origin.
