Visit of the students of the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Archdiocese of America to the Metropolitan of Thessalonikitranslated

On the morning of Friday, July 10, the students of the School of Byzantine Music of the Holy Archdiocese of America, visited the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Thessaloniki, Mr. Filotheo, at the offices of the Metropolitan. After welcoming the guests, His Eminence discussed with them, showing a special interest in the operation of their School. Holy Cross School of Theology is a spiritual, educational and theological beacon of the Orthodox Church in America and, as an institution of higher education, has as its mission the cultivation and preparation of Orthodox Christian clergy and lay leaders of the local Church.

The students were accompanied by Mr. Georgios Theodoridis Archon, Music Teacher and Cantor of the Cathedral of Hagia Sophia, Washington DC, and the Director of the Educational and Cultural Foundation (EK.PI.) of the Metropolis of Thessaloniki, Fr. Cherouveim Tsinoglou.

It is interesting that Metropolitan Philotei inquired in such detail about the work of their school.
