Metropolitan Andrei served at the consecration of the only monastery in Romania protected by Saint Paisie Aghiorittranslated

Metropolitan Andrei of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj served on Sunday at the consecration of the Pantocrator Monastery in Beclean, Bistrița-Năsăud county, the only one in Romania protected by Saint Paisius the Aghios.
Starting from the Gospel of the healing of the leper in Capernaum, His Eminence emphasized the connection between sin, suffering and the redemptive work of Christ that removes evil: "The Lord Christ, before healing the leper in Capernaum, removed the cause of his illness, which was sins: Your sins are forgiven."
"The Lord Christ became flesh for us and for our salvation, and came to remove all these misfortunes: to forgive sin, to heal the afflicted, to remove sickness and, finally, death."
At the same time, IPS Andrei evoked the personality of Saint Pious Paisie Aghiorit, the protector of the monastery, showing that his teaching is in full harmony with the message of the Sunday Gospel.
"Saint Paisie Aghiorite also insists on this truth, a man who lived according to the will of God and who emphasized that sins are catastrophic," said the Metropolitan of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj.
