Fiideajutor.ro supports the electrification of a Botošan churchtranslated

The Fiideajutor.ro platform of the Metropolitanate of Moldova and Bucovina supports the electrification of the new church of the "Holy Martyr Dimitrie" Parish in Rediu, Botoșani county.

The foundation stone of the place of worship was laid in 2018. The construction was supported by three financings granted by the State Secretariat for Religions and by the contributions of the faithful.

The new church is roofed and plastered on the outside, and the windows and doors have been installed. After completing the electrical installation, work will continue with the heating system, interior plastering and painting.

For the continuation of the works, the amount of 50,000 lei is required, which will cover the connection of the place of worship to the electrical network and the installation of the interior installation.

Why is a new church needed? At present, the faithful attend services in an old church, built of logs and affected by landslides.

The current stage of the works involves the installation of an underground cable between the electrical network and the church, as well as the installation of wiring, boxes and the electrical panel, according to the technical project.

Thanks for this information. It is good that the foundation was laid in 2018 and now the windows and doors are installed, only electricity is missing. 50,000 lei should be enough for this stage, hopefully it will be collected quickly and then they will switch to heating.
