Vučić’s meeting with American adviser Burns

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with Pastor Mark Burns, who is the United States President Donald Trump’s adviser on religious affairs. During the meeting, they discussed ways to strengthen relations further between the two countries, as well as to preserve peace and stability in the region. They also talked about the position of the Serbian people and protecting Serbian holy sites in Kosovo and Metohija.
In a post on Instagram, Vučić said: “Together with Pastor Burns, President Trump’s adviser on religious affairs, I discussed the further strengthening of relations between Serbia and the United States, the preservation of peace and stability in the region, and the importance of understanding and dialogue.”
He added that he thanked Burns for paying tribute to innocent Serbian victims during his visit to Bratunac, and for conveying a message of peace and respect for all victims. He also emphasised the need to preserve truth and memory for the benefit of future generations.
