Congratulations to future mothers at the Samara City Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashkotranslated

On the eve of the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity in the maternity hospital of Samara City Clinical Hospital No. 2 named after N.A. Semashko hosted an event for pregnant women and their spouses.
The rector of the church in honor of St. Mitrophan of Voronezh, Archpriest Alexander Boyko, addressed the audience with a welcoming speech.
The priest answered questions from expectant mothers about preparation for childbirth, the time of the sacrament of Baptism, and the Christian traditions of naming newborns.
Archpriest Alexander also explained the liturgical meaning of the priestly blessing and taught it to the participants of the meeting.
The event was attended by a member of the Public Council under the Ministry of Health of the Samara Region, Nadezhda Kosmirova, and Maria Kosmirova, who performed thematic musical compositions for patients and medical staff.
During the meeting, future parents discussed with obstetrician-gynecologists Svetlana Yuryevna Ploshkina and Olga Vladimirovna Kapustina the issues of organizing partner births.
A creative competition was organized for the participants of the holiday, following which medical specialists presented memorable gifts to the winners.
