Venerable brothers Hierarchs and children blessed in the Lord,

By the grace of God, today we enter the new ecclesiastical year, glorifying His heavenly name for the unbroken fruitfulness of the initiatives of the Holy Great Church in the area of the protection of the creation. The Ecumenical Patriarch not only pointed out in time the seriousness of the environmental problems, but turned attention to their causes, to their internal, spiritual and moral consequences, and proposed solutions based on the Orthodox eucharistic and ascetic ethos.
