Feast of the Transfiguration of the Holy Church of Prophet Ilias Attica - Reception of Relicstranslated

On the three-day period 18 – 20 JULY 2026, in the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of Prophet Ilias Attica, celebratory Masses of the Most Reverend Metropolitan Kyrillos of Kifissia, Amarousi, Oropos & Marathon will be held. As part of the celebration, the relics of Saints Martyrs Marinus & Christina, Saints Luke the Physician, Seraphim of Sarof, Holy Fathers of the Lavra of Kiev & Saints Nektarios, Demetrius, George & Saint Anne will be received.

7:00 p.m. – Reception of Holy Relics.

The Holy Relics will be buried by the Most Reverend Archimandrite

Father Efstratios Delatolas, High Priestly Commissioner of Pefki - Lykovryso. Then the sequence of the Holy Blessing.

7:00 am – Solemn Divine Liturgy after divine sermon.

7:30 p.m. - Grand Solemn High Priestly Vespers after bread baking, divine sermon and the subsequent procession of the Holy Icon of the Prophet Elias on the streets: Prophet Elias - Eleusinia - Minoos - Beroia - Evia - Prophet Elias.
