Brilliant celebration of Saint Seraphim of Sarof in the Holy Monastery of Trikorfos, Phokidostranslated

The two-day celebrations for the memory of Saint Seraphim of Sarof, patron of the Holy Monastery of Trikorfos, were completed with special spiritual rapture and ecclesiastical magnificence, upon the retrieval of his holy relics. The holy services, following the noble invitation of the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Phokidos, Mr. Theoktistos, were presided over by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Messinia, Mr. Chrysostomos, who graced the celebration with his presence, both with his Byzantine psalms and with his spiritual training, and preached the divine word, analyzing with theological depth the life and the spiritual legacy of Saint Seraphim.

Throughout the two days, a large number of believers came to the Monastery to participate in the liturgical events, having at the same time the blessing of venerating a piece of the holy relic of Saint Seraphim of Sarof, which was placed in veneration for the sanctification of the faithful.

A special moment of the celebration was today, Sunday July 19, 2026, when, in an emotional atmosphere, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Messinia, Mr. Chrysostomos, ordained the monk Fr.

Степан ПоповI am glad for Monk Anthimus that he was ordained on this very day, when the relics of Saint Seraphim were opened for veneration. A good start to ministry. And Bishop Chrysostom sang beautifully, as they say.
