On July 20, the day when our Holy Church celebrates the memory of the Holy Glorious Prophet Helios of Thesvitos, the holy temple of Prophet Helios in Germasogeia celebrates. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Limassol, Mr. Athanasios, officiated at the Vespers of the holiday.

On the day of the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, the Most Reverend Bishop Amathoustos Mr. Nikolaos presided.

Илья МорозовIt is good that Bishop Nicholas of Amafunt served at the Liturgy. I remember how last year, on a similar day, my wife and I went to the Temple of Elijah the Prophet and after the service we treated everyone to pies with apples from our garden. The holiday was soulful.
