The local authorities on the side of the children of the camps of the Holy Metropolis of Florinatranslated

On the afternoon of Friday, July 3, 2026, the area of the camps of the Holy Diocese of Florina, Prespa and Eordaia, where high school and high school students are currently being accommodated, were visited by the Deputy Regional Governor P.E. Florina Mr. Athanasios Taskas, the Mayor of Florina Mr. Vasilios Giannakis and the Commander of the 9th Mechanized Brigade, Brigadier General Stefanos Doxakis. They were welcomed by the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Floris, Prespa and Eordaia, Mr. Irenaios, together with the children and the staff of the camps.

The official visitors were given a tour of the camp facilities, talked to the children and were informed about the program and the activities that take place every day.

During the visit, the Pastor warmly thanked the three official visitors for their presence as well as their practical support and cooperation with the Holy Metropolis. He emphasized that everyone, from the position of responsibility they serve, contributes substantially to the effort made by our local Church for the spiritual cultivation and creative use of the free time of the summer of children and young people, contributing decisively to the seamless...
