Visit of Dimitrias Ignatius to the camps of the Metropolistranslated

At the camping facilities of the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias, today, 19/7, once again, the Rev. Metropolitan of Dimitrias, Mr. Ignatios, in order to meet the 90 girls in the last grades of the Primary School, who are hosted there under the responsibility of Mrs. Georgia Lytras. His Holiness mingled with the female campers, who enthusiastically presented the camp's recreational program. Addressing the campers, His Holiness emphasized that the camp is a great school of love, pointing out:

"Love conquers hate. Love unites people, forgives, accepts the other as he is and transforms him. It is the most important thing in our life. This is exactly what the camp teaches you: to put Christ's love into practice in your everyday life. The Church is one big family, with Christ as its center, in which we learn to truly love and live together. Therefore, in today's world, which is so often wounded by violence and lack of peace, you may become children of love and peace. Always protect the weakest, don't mock...
