Diocesan Counciltranslated

On June 30, a meeting of the Diocesan Council was held in the conference hall of the Diocesan Administration, chaired by Archbishop Theodore of Petropavlovsk and Kamchatka. The Diocesan Council, headed by the diocesan bishop, is the governing body of the diocese. The meeting was attended by: Archpriest Yaroslav Levko, Hieromonk Nestor (Smirnov), Hieromonk Daniil (Sizov), Archpriest Victor Muzykant. Invited: Priest Roman Nikitin, Rev. Konstantin Batsatsenko, prot. Vladimir Bogoslavsky, prot. Valery Gladilin, Abbess Maria (Nechipor).

The following issues are on the agenda: regulation of henchman documents, adding the names of locally venerated saints to the petition and prayer at the all-night vigil litia and in proskomedia commemoration, missionary projects of the diocese, upcoming events.

At the end, Archbishop Theodore and all those present congratulated Priest Roman Nikitin, head of the Youth Department of the diocese, on his 50th anniversary, wishing him many and prosperous years.
