Memorial Day of Grand Duchess Elizabeth Feodorovna in the Nikolsky Church in the village of Nikulino

On July 18, St. Nicholas Church in the village of Nikulino became the center of an amazing event - more than 50 sisters of mercy and volunteers from the sisterhoods of Zelenograd, Krasnogorsk and Pereslavl-Zalessky came to visit.

The holiday began with a divine service, which was led by the rector of the church, head of the medical sector of the department for church charity and social service of the Odintsovo diocese, Archpriest Vyacheslav Konovalov. Concelebrating with the rector were the confessor of the Zvenigorod sisterhood, Archpriest Alexander Antoshkin, the confessor of the Krasnogorsk sisterhood, Priest John Ostrovsky, and the cleric of the church, Priest Arseny Konovalov.

After the service, a concert was held dedicated to the life and feat of the Holy Martyr Elizabeth Feodorovna Romanova. The guests received performances from the Pereslavl-Zalessky House of Culture groups - the Harmony choir and the Sofia ensemble under the direction of Veronika Arkhipova. And this bright day ended with a sincere tea party, where in an informal setting sisters from different cities were able to communicate and exchange experiences of their difficult but noble service.
