Romanian Aviation Day was marked at the Monument to the Heroes of the Air in the Capitaltranslated

Romanian Aviation and Air Force Day was marked on Sunday at the Air Heroes Monument in Bucharest with a military and religious ceremony in memory of the airmen's heroes.

During the ceremony, military and civilian aircraft flew over the Air Heroes monument in Aviatorilor Square.

Deputy Prime Minister Oana Gheorghiu and Dragoș Hotea, Secretary of State in the Prime Minister's Chancellery, participated in the event on behalf of the Government. The overflight included aircraft of the Romanian Air Force, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Romanian Intelligence Service and the Romanian Aeroclub.

Romanian and allied aircraft Eurofighter Typhoon aircraft of the Italian Air Force and the British Royal Air Force also participated in the air show.

The Romanian Air Force announced that the program included F-16 Fighting Falcon, C-130 Hercules, C-27J Spartan, AN-30 and IAR-330 aircraft. EC-135 SMURD helicopters, S-70M Black Hawk, a Bombardier Learjet 75 aircraft of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and SA-365 Dauphin helicopters of the Romanian Intelligence Service also flew over the monument.

Хорошо, что и итальянцы с британцами прилетели на Typhoon, видно, что сотрудничество живое. А наши F-16 и Hercules над памятником — всегда мурашки по коже, сколько наших лётчиков там лежит. Внук бы посмотрел, он как раз в авиамоделировании занимается.

F-16-urile și Hercules-urile noastre deasupra monumentului chiar te fac să te oprești o clipă. Bine că au venit și italienii și britanicii cu Typhoon-urile, arată că treaba merge împreună. Nepoțelul meu ar fi stat cu nasul în sus toată ziua, ca al lui Timoфей.

Да, Typhoon от итальянцев и британцев — хороший знак, что партнёрство работает. Наши F-16 и Hercules действительно пробирают, особенно когда вспоминаешь, сколько пилотов погибло в те годы. А твой внук в авиамоделизме — пусть расскажет, какую модель сейчас собирает, интересно послушать.

Хорошо, что Typhoon от итальянцев и британцев тоже прошли, сразу видно — дело не на словах. А наши F-16 и Hercules над памятником действительно за душу берут, особенно когда знаешь, сколько там лётчиков лежит. Твой внук в авиамоделировании — пусть попробует собрать ИАР-80, у нас в Ростове такие модели в кружке делают, интересно получается.

Those F-16s and the C-130s really do make you look up, you're right. The Italian and British Typhoons flying alongside ours felt like a solid reminder that it's not just us out there. My youngest daughter would have been the same as your grandson, glued to the sky the whole time, asking a hundred questions about the Hercules.
