For five years now, teachers of the inclusive center “Solar Circle” at the Church of the Prophet John the Baptist in Ulyanovsk have been helping children with disabilities realize their potential, integrate into everyday life and establish communication with other children.

The center was created with the blessing of Metropolitan Longin of Simbirsk and Novospassky and operates with the support of the diocesan department for church charity and social service. Since the opening day in 2021, the number of pupils has grown from 10 to more than 60 children and adults with and without special needs. A “waiting list” has been formed.
