The Orthodox camp “Heirs” hosted an exhibition of drawings “The Beauty of God’s World through the Eyes of Children”translated

July 21, 2026 · 1 min read

July 19, 2026, the sixth day at Heirs was dedicated to the theme: “The Beauty of God’s World Through the Eyes of Children,” the goal of which was to combine creative self-expression and deep communal prayer, and also to once again make sure that Heirs is our stronghold, a small Church and a space of love.

The guys expressed their love for God and their neighbors through drawings, and also jointly drew posters for each unit. The creative program fell on Parents' Day at the camp, and therefore relatives were able to appreciate the exhibition of works.

According to tradition, in the evening the children had a quiet conversation around the fire with Archpriest Anatoly Rezanovich.

It's good that they exhibited the drawings on Parents' Day, the parents must have been overjoyed. The posters they did together in groups look like they really put in the effort. And Anatolia's father by the fire in the evening - that's always the best part.

I agree, Jovan, the parents must have been overjoyed when they saw the children drawing and crying together. Here in Niš last year, a similar exhibition was held right at the end of the camp, so moms and dads took drawings home as the biggest gift. And Anatolia's father always knows how to say something memorable by the fire, doesn't he?

Yes, Dragan, the parents were really overjoyed, my son brought me his drawing from the camp exhibition and it is now hanging on the fridge. Anatolije's father always finds a simple sentence by the fire that sticks with you, like last year when he spoke about how love is seen in small things. Were you with your children at that exhibition of yours in Niš?

Yes, Ivana, and my wife was delighted with the drawings, especially the one where our little one drew our bicycle in front of the church. Anatolije's father is really a master of those short sentences that stick in your head. I wasn't in Niš, but did you see how this year's squad posters turned out even better than last year?

Yes, Petre, that drawing with the bicycle in front of the church is really nice, our Jovan drew our small pastry table similarly. Anatoly's father really knows how to say what's been going through your head all day. And did you see how they drew the letters on the posters better this year?

Yes, Ivana, my mom was also delighted with what she saw on Parents' Day, especially the drawings where the children drew the church and the forest behind our church. That conversation by the fire about small things still stuck in my mind from last year. Did you ask your son what exactly he wanted to say with that drawing that is now on the fridge?
