On the eve of the memory of the new martyr of our Irtysh region, Bishop Vikenty performed an evening service in Tambovkatranslated

On July 15, 2026, on the eve of the day of remembrance of the Hieromartyr Sylvester, Archbishop of Omsk, Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsk visited the women's monastic community at the Vladimir parish in the village of Tambovka, Sargat district.
In the monastery being created, an icon of the saint is kept with part of the vestments in which he was buried and a particle of his holy relics. The image was presented to the Tara diocese by Metropolitan Dionysius of Omsk and Irtysh in 2025, made in honor of the 130th anniversary of the Omsk diocese.
In the newly consecrated church in honor of the icon of the Mother of God “Three-Handed”, which is under construction at the Vladimir monastery, the archpastor offered prayers after performing the evening service and, according to the charter, anointing all those praying with consecrated oil.
At the end of the service, Bishop addressed an instructive word to the sisters and those gathered.
During the service they prayed: the senior sister-builder of the women's monastic community, nun Sergia (Debus), with nuns and novices.
