The parish of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary took part in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Mazanovsky districttranslated

On June 12, Russia Day, the Mazanovsky Municipal District celebrated a significant date - the 100th anniversary of its formation.

At the invitation of the organizers, the rector of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Novokievsky Uval, Priest Alexy Vasiliev and parishioners of the temple took part in the anniversary celebrations.

The Orthodox community took part in the festive procession of the district's labor collectives. The parishioners were dressed in blue and white clothes, carrying banners and bouquets of flowers, symbolizing purity, peace and fidelity to Orthodox traditions. During the procession, representatives of the parish unanimously proclaimed: “Eternal faith, glorious faith! Our faith is Orthodox!”

After the procession ended, the parish organized a thematic area in the form of a small gazebo, where holy icons and the Gospel were presented. Everyone could light a candle, pray and get acquainted with the life of the Orthodox parish.

A special event of the holiday was the ceremonial award ceremony for the residents of the district. For many years of service to people and significant contribution to the spiritual and social life of the Mazanovsky district, the rector of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Priest Alexy Vasiliev, was awarded the title “Honorary Citizen of Mazanovsky...
