It's good to hear the Pope reminding young people to live as a message of love and justice. West Africa has seen enough fighting already. I pray those kids can actually do it without getting pulled into the next conflict.

The youth in Africa have a heavy burden, that is true. The Pope rightly said that they should be a message of peace, but when there are guns and poverty everywhere, it's hard to stay away. In our country, after the nineties, we saw how quickly it affects ordinary people, let alone children.

Yes, young people in such places carry a heavy load. I remember how, after the nineties, many of our guys got involved in showdowns simply out of despair. It’s good that the Pope speaks directly about peace and justice, but without real work and order, this remains only words.
