The Romanian parish of Garmisch-Partenkirchen hosted the football tournament of the Archdiocese of Southern Bavariatranslated

The parish "St. Nicholas and St. Korbinian" in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany, hosted the third edition of the Football Tournament of the Archdiocese of Southern Bavaria at the end of last week.
The sports event started with the prayers of blessing, in which the 14 competing teams and their supporters took part.
Father Dumitru Aman, the parish priest of the Romanian community, addressed a welcome speech, in which he highlighted the fact that the movement, enthusiasm and joy of participation contribute to strengthening the bond between those who love the Church and sports.
Also, Fr. Alexandru Nan, Archpriest of Upper Bavaria and the initiator of this tournament, highlighted the importance of sports for the health of the soul, mind and body.
The sports event was also attended by Claudia Zolk, deputy mayor of the city, who welcomed the participants, expressing her joy at the organization of this event.
