Pilgrimage to Diveevo and to the holy places of neighboring metropolisestranslated

Pilgrims from the Trifonov Monastery and the parishes of the Vyatka diocese toured the holy places of the Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas, Yoshkar-Ola and Chuvash metropolises and the Yaran diocese. The pilgrimage trip took place from June 26 to June 28, 2026.

According to tradition, the pilgrims made their first stop in the city of Yaransk, where they prayed to St. Matthew in the Trinity Cathedral. At the shrine of the Vyatka saint, Hieromonk Damian anointed the believers and blessed the pilgrims on their way. On the way to Diveevo, the pilgrims stopped in Yoshkar-Ola, where they visited Patriarchal Square, the Annunciation Cathedral, and by the evening of the same day they arrived in Diveevo.

Many different routes to visit holy places are offered by the pilgrimage service of the Trifonov Monastery, but a trip to the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Monastery has remained the most favorite route for pilgrims for many years. Over the years, Diveevo has become an abode of heavenly beauty with majestic temples and a territory surrounded by flowers. The Annunciation Cathedral delights with the beauty of the mosaic with the Faces of the Virgin Mary, the Lord and the saints. In the Trinity Cathedral there are the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov and the venerated image of the Mother of God “Tenderness”, in the Kazan Cathedral the relics...
