I am glad for Bishop Ignatius of Chushi - his work on Palamas has always been so thorough. But I wonder how many of these 150 nominations ultimately failed? 43 laureates is respectable.

I’m glad too—Bishop Ignatie’s work on Palamas really is first-rate. From what the article says, the 43 winners came out of over 150 nominations, but it doesn’t break down how many were in theology. Do you know if the faculty submitted a lot this year?

I was glad that Bishop Ignatie received the prize for Palamite theology, his work has always been profound. Even for dad Ștefan Buchiu from our faculty in Bucharest, he deserved it. Of the 150 nominations, do you know how many were from theology?

I was also happy for Bishop Ignatius, his studies on St. Gregory Palamas have helped many people to understand the depth of hesychasm. For dad Ștefan Buchiu I agree, it is a clear mind. As for the number of nominations from theology, I haven't read it yet, do you know maybe?

Yes, I have also partially read the studies of Bishop Ignatius on Palama, especially those on unwritten energies - they help you a lot when you are in prayer. I completely agree with dad Ștefan Buchiu, his mind is crystal clear. As for nominations, I think theology had about 28 out of 150, but I'm not sure of the exact number.

I was glad that you emphasize the deep work of Bishop Ignatie, especially about Palamism that no one understands. I also know dad Ștefan Buchiu a little from a conference in Berat two years ago, he always speaks clearly. Your question about nominations from theology is a good one, I see on the list that there are at least 12-13, but I don't know exactly how many there were in the beginning.

I liked that you mentioned the conference in Berat, I was also there one afternoon and I remembered how father Ștefan Buchiu explained a patristic text without complicating it at all. As for the nominations, if there were 150 in total, 12-13 from theology does not seem a little, right? Have you seen any other names from Albania on the list?

I liked that you emphasize the clarity of father Ștefan Buchiu, I also heard him once at a meeting in Korça and he spoke so practically that I remembered him for days. I agree with Ignatie of Hușilor, his work in Palamism is serious. As for the number of nominations, do you know any other names from Albania that were mentioned?
