The celebration of the Birth of the Virgin in Zefyritranslated

On Tuesday, September 8, 2026, when our Church celebrates the Nativity of the Virgin, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Ilio, Acharnon and Petropolis Mr. Athenagoras officiated at Orthros and celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the homonymous Holy Parish Church in Zefyri, His Eminence was flanked by Archimandrite Agathangelos Koklas, Preacher of the Holy Metropolis, who spoke appropriately about our Virgin Mary, referring to Her depictions in the Old Testament, Archimandrite Tito Christou, High Priestly Commissioner of Tribes and Acharnon, Fr. Angelos Kanellos, President of the Ecclesiastical Council of the celebrant of the Holy Church, Fr. Theofanis Theofanous, vicar of the celebrating Holy Church, Fr.
