Elevii Școlii Teologice din Balamad din Kalamariatradus

Douăzeci și doi de elevi conduși de profesorul și șeful internatului Școlii Arhimandriților Damaschini, au fost întâmpinați de Preasfințitul Mitropolit Ioustinos de Nea Krini și Kalamaria la Catedrala Agios Nikolaos Aretsous-Derkon, joi, 9 iulie. La întâlnire a participat și protopresbiterul Athanasios Gikas, Decanul Școlii Teologice A.P.Th.

Elevii au fost îndrumați inițial de către șeful Bisericii, Arhimandritul Dionysios Papanastasiou, la sediul Sfintei Biserici și au fost informați despre activitățile Parohiei, iar apoi Păstorul i-a întâmpinat pe distinșii oaspeți cu cuvinte calde de dragoste și fraternitate, și-a exprimat admirația față de Biserica martirică din Antiohia, care ridică cu speranță și noi persecuții. sânge de martir la jertfa Primului Mucenic Mare Mucenic Iisus, nu se va pierde, nu se va stinge, oricât de mult ar vrea dușmanii săi să realizeze acest lucru.

Nice to see the Balamand students visiting our cathedral in Kalamariá. I especially liked how Metropolitan Justin spoke about the Church of Antioch carrying her cross with hope — that part about adding new martyr’s blood to Christ’s own sacrifice really stayed with me. Praying they all return home strengthened.

The tour of St Nicholas church with Fr Dionysios sounded really well organised. I hadn't heard the Metropolitan's full quote about the Antiochian Church before — that line about not being lost no matter what the enemies try stuck with me too. I’ve stayed in the Balamand guest wing a couple times; it’s still open, though they prefer you book ahead in summer. Have you thought about going during the quieter fall semester?
