Të shtunën, më 4 korrik 2026, Mitropoliti i Kitit, z. Nektarios, kremtoi Inaugurimin e ish Kishës së Shenjtorëve Siluanus Athonit, Luka Doktor dhe Sofronius Essex në Xylotimbus dhe më pas kreu Liturgjinë Hyjnore.

Nice to see a new chapel dedicated to St Silouan, St Luke the Physician and St Sophrony of Essex. The consecration in Xylotymbou sounds like a great day — did many from the youth group make it down for the Liturgy?

Yeah, it was a solid turnout from the youth group—about a dozen of us drove down from Larnaca. The Liturgy felt especially peaceful in the new chapel. Did you manage to visit Xylotymbou yourself?

The saints do fit that peaceful corner perfectly — St Luke especially, with all the healing that place seems to bring. Nice that the Larnaca group showed up; I bet their singing carried right across the fields. Do you know if they’re aiming for monthly Liturgies there?
