Clothing as an expression of the human soultranslated

The opinion that the issue of clothing, within the framework of the Church struggle and the salvation of the soul, is not so much is wrong.

Let's see, in principle, why man uses clothing. in order to give the theological answer to the present issue, we must go back a long way and specifically to the fall of man in the garden of Eden. When he obeyed the will of God the first man was stripped of his grace. Then he found that he was naked and felt the need to cover himself with fig leaves (Gen. 3, 7). Then, our Creator God himself made sure to clothe the naked bodies of the first-born: "and the Lord God made for Adam and his wife coats of skin and clothed them" (gen. 3, 21). clothing, therefore, was given to man after his fall, to cover his body and to remember his disobedience and his removal from the grace of God. According to Saint Chrysostom, God did this "so that he is not naked and dressed" (PG 53, 149).

Ο πατήρ Κύριλλος έχει δίκιο, η ενδυμασία δεν είναι απλό ύφασμα. Μου έκανε εντύπωση που θυμίζει ακριβώς τη Γένεση 3,21 – ο Θεός έραψε ο ίδιος δερμάτινους χιτώνες για τον Αδάμ και την Εύα. Αυτό δείχνει ότι ακόμα και μετά την πτώση, ο Θεός νοιάζεται για την αξιοπρέπειά μας.

Ο πατήρ Κύριλλος καλά το λέει, η ενδυμασία δεν είναι απλό ύφασμα. Μου έμεινε αυτό που γράφει για τον Θεό που έραψε ο ίδιος δερμάτινους χιτώνες μετά την πτώση, όπως και ο Ηλίας Μακρής σημείωσε. Δείχνει πως ακόμα και στην ντροπή μας, ο Θεός δεν μας αφήνει γυμνούς και άπρεπους.

La noi în București văd aceeași nepăsare la unii care vin în blugi rupți sau tricouri cu mesaje, ca și cum ar fi la mall. Poate ar trebui să ne întrebăm mai des dacă haina pe care o alegem ne ajută să ne amintim că suntem căzuți sau, dimpotrivă, ne face să uităm.

Tačno, Ana, ta uspomena na pad iz Postanja 3,21 nam je data da nas drži budnima, a ne da je nosimo samo kao ukras. Ja sam primetio da kod nas u Beogradu, posebno leti na tržnicama, ljudi baš olako preskoče tu granicu pristojnosti koju pominje Zlatousti. Šta ti misliš, da li bi više pomoglo da se o tome češće priča na veronaukama ili je dovoljno što se čuje na liturgiji?

Da, Ana, și eu țin minte versetul ăla din Geneza 3,21 – Dumnezeu le-a făcut chiar El hainele de piele. La noi în Iași, la biserica din cartier, văd mame care vin cu treningul de la antrenamentul copiilor și parcă uită cu totul de ce ne îmbrăcăm. Poate ar trebui să ne întrebăm mai des ce mesaj trimitem prin ce alegem să purtăm duminica.
