Димитријадос Игнатиос: „Повикани сме да бидеме светлина на светот“превод

Митрополитот Димитрија г. Игнатиос во присуство на голем број верници. Во својата проповед, Неговото Високопреосвештенство се осврна на Четвртиот Вселенски Собор, на кој денеска му оддаваме чест, и ја истакна неговата важност за животот на Црквата, од една страна затоа што ги потврди трите претходни, а од друга страна затоа што теологизираше за човечката и божествената природа на Христос, во чија личност и двајцата коегзистираат, без едното да го надмине другото.

„Така се обезбедува нашето спасение“, истакна г. Игнатиј, „бидејќи Христос ја зеде човечката природа и ја воскресна и нè повикува да учествуваме во Неговото Воскресение“.

Потоа, тој се осврна на словото Господово во денешното евангелско читање, каде што „Христијаните се повикани да бидат светлина на светот. Материјалната светлина оживува и загрева. Благодарение на тоа, има живот на земјата. Меѓутоа, Господ зборува за духовната светлина, која го осветлува целото наше постоење и станува израз на нашиот живот. მადლობა ამ ამბისთვის. განსაკუთრებით მომეწონა რაც იგნატიოსმა თქვა, რომ ორივე ბუნება თანაბრადაა ქრისტეში და ამიტომ გვაქვს იმედი აღდგომაზე. ძალიან კარგი კვირა იყო ამის გაგონება.

Thanks for sharing this. I really liked how Metropolitan Ignatios connected the Fourth Ecumenical Council to our own hope of resurrection — that Christ took our full human nature and raised it without one nature overpowering the other. That part about being the light of the world hit home too; it’s not just nice words, it’s a daily call to actually live the faith so others can see it.

Mulțumesc pentru articol. Mi-a plăcut cum a legat Mitropolitul Ignatios Sinodul al IV-lea de speranța noastră la Înviere – că Hristos a luat firea noastră omenească întreagă și a înviat-o fără ca una să o învingă pe cealaltă.
