A special day for people with disabilities at the Camps of the Holy Metropolis of Floristranslated

A beautiful meeting dedicated to people with disabilities from the Prefectures of Florina, Kastoria and Kozani took place on Thursday, July 16, 2026 at the Camps of the Holy Metropolis of Florina, Prespa and Eordaia. During the whole day of action, the participants together with their companions had the opportunity to spend a day full of smiles, communication and creation. Sports, games, music, song and dance made up a rich program, while the natural environment of the Camps offered moments of rest and beautiful coexistence.

Near them was the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Floris, Prespa and Eordaia Mr. Irenaios, who talked with them and shared the joy of the day. Addressing those present, he referred to the inestimable value of the human person and underlined that each person is a unique image of God. At the same time, he pointed out that love and acceptance gain real meaning when they are expressed in practice, without discrimination and exclusion.
