Хорошо, что Комитет государственного контроля выбрал таких сильных покровителей. Молебен в Свято-Духовом соборе, наверное, получился торжественный. Интересно, часто ли они собираются вместе на такие службы?

Yes, the apostles Peter and Paul are strict and just - just what you need for control. In our church in Ruse, we also pray to them for honesty in work. I wonder if after the prayer they gave out an icon or something as a souvenir to the employees.

Good thing they chose the apostles Peter and Paul, just and determined people, suitable for a control committee. Here in Iași, when we hold a rally at the cathedral, there is always more order if someone from the authorities also comes. Did they give them small icons after the service, as is customary here?

It’s good that they chose Peter and Paul - after all, one was a fisherman, and the other a persecutor, but they became pillars. In Novosibirsk, the tax office also sometimes holds prayer services before inspections, but with such a large composition, the cathedral was probably full. Were they handing out icons after the service? I wonder?

Good thing they chose the apostles Peter and Paul, they fit a control committee. Here in the choir of the church in Bucharest, we sing their troparion on their birthday and it seems to feel more orderly. Did they give icons to the employees after the moleben, as the others say?

Yes, it’s interesting that they were chosen - the fisherman and former persecutor ended up becoming the basis. In Yaroslavl, after prayers in the church, sometimes small icons are also distributed, but mainly to those who stayed until the end. Do the tax authorities often have such services in Novosibirsk or is it once a year before the audits?

Yes, the apostles Peter and Paul are indeed well suited to a control committee—one with the keys, one with the righteous epistles. Here in Iași, at the parish, after their mass on June 29, the priest distributed small wooden icons and many took them with them to work. Did you see how it went at your choir in Bucharest, were there more people than usual?

It’s interesting what you said about Yaroslavl - in Rostov, too, after such prayers, sometimes they give icons, but only to those who stood until the end. But about Novosibirsk and the tax office - do they call every year before inspections or what? In our store I only light a candle in front of the tax office, and that doesn’t always help 😂
